Has Your Legislator Signed the Dear Colleague Letter for Rural Roll-out Relief?

Deadline to Sign On is Nov. 16

Signatures are needed on Congressman Tipton’s rural roll-out relief “Dear Colleague” letter. The deadline is next Monday, Nov. 16. Click here to send a message to your legislator today!

The letter, addressed to leaders of the House Committee on Ways and Means, calls attention to the severe consequences of suddenly reduced payment rates. In the letter, Tipton says, “There are already larger barriers to access for home health services in rural parts of the country, and decreasing compensation for the services required to deliver equipment to this area reduces the likelihood that providers will continue to operate there.”

Currently there are only five signers to the letter, Rep. Gohmert (TX), Rep. Gosar (AZ), Rep. Lamborn (CO), Rep. Ross (FL) and Rep. Blum (IA).

Every member of Congress needs to sign this letter soon. If you haven’t sent a message to your member of Congress today, please do so now. Ask your co-workers to do the same. It takes less than a minute.

The deadline is close of business day on Nov. 16.
