Important Survey to Measure COVID-19 Impact on HME Providers and Manufacturers

The American Association for Homecare is conducting a survey to quantify increased company costs and supply chain disruptions that have resulted from the COVID-19 public health emergency. Their position, which OAMES’ supports, is that CMS should delay the Medicare competitive bidding program by at least a year due to market disruptions.  

This feedback will not only be valuable in the bidding conversation, but useful in our states with other payers, particularly state Medicaid programs that have strict budget requirements and are clearly strained by this healthcare emergency.
