Ohio Medicaid SPBM Website Goes Live

On May 3, the Ohio Department of Medicaid and Gainwell Technologies launched the state Medicaid program’s new Single Pharmacy Benefit Manager (SPBM) website. The website can be accessed at https://spbm.medicaid.ohio.gov.

The release of the SPBM website targets Ohio pharmacies and pharmacists. The site provides information about Ohio Medicaid’s next generation pharmacy program and the work underway for the October 2022 implementation. Pharmacy stakeholders and providers can visit the website to access important program information and updates or to download useful guides including the SPBM Pharmacy Reference Guide (Provider Manual). The website will continue to be updated with information for members, pharmacies, and prescribers.
