8/20/20 UPDATE:

Registration is per line and each participant will receive a confirmation via email with log-in information along with presentations prior to the webinars.  If you have any registration questions, email Denise in the OAMES office; for any program questions, email Kam at OAMES.

7/31/2020 UPDATE:

OAMES will be hosting two webinars on Sept. 10 covering the key issues that would have been discussed during the educational sessions at the in-person seminar.  Please note the following schedule and watch for registration information to be posted soon.

Traditional Medicaid webinar - 10:00 - 11:15 am

** Presenters:  OAMES leaders and Ohio Department of Medicaid staff (from Policy and External Business Relations Sections)

Medicaid Managed Care webinar - 2:00 - 3:15 pm

** Presenters:  OAMES leaders and representatives from Aetna, Buckeye, CareSource, Molina, Paramount and UHC.

7/16/2020 UPDATE:

After careful consideration working with the Ohio Department of Medicaid (ODM) and the Medicaid managed care plans, we have made the decision to change the Fall Medicaid Training Seminar scheduled Sept. 10 in Columbus to a virtual program.  ODM, as well as many MCP organizations, continue to have travel limitations and protocols in place that restrict their participation at in-person meetings causing too much uncertainty for September.

The good news is, however, all parties are willing to collaborate with OAMES to develop virtual training for our members.  Most likely, we’ll host two webinars – one on traditional Medicaid topics with ODM Policy and External Business Relations staff; and a second on Medicaid managed care issues with the six MCPs – Aetna, Buckeye, CareSource, Molina, Paramount and UHC.  Watch for program and registration information as soon as details are confirmed.

Please feel free to email any issues you’d like covered in these programs to OAMES executive director Kam Yuricich no later than July 31.
