The DME CERT Outreach and Education Task Force will conduct a national webinar November 1, 2018, from 2:00 – 3:30 PM Eastern (1:00 – 2:30 PM Central). This webinar will focus on errors found by the CERT contractor during post-pay reviews of Oxygen claims. They will begin with a presentation then answer questions from the attendees. The DME CERT Outreach and Education Task Force consists of representatives from each of the DME MACs and is independent from the CMS CERT Team and CERT contractors, who are responsible for the calculation of the Medicare Fee-for-Service Improper payment rate. The goal of the DME CERT Outreach and Education Task Force is to help reduce the overall CERT error rate by providing focused education to the supplier community.
