On April 30, 2020, Ohio Department of Health Director, Dr. Amy Acton, issued a Director’s Stay Safe Ohio Order. This order permits all businesses, except those specifically listed in the order, to reopen as long as all workplace safety standards are met. A copy of the order may be reviewed here.
The order implements uniform requirements that pharmacies and other Board of Pharmacy licensees and registrants, including home medical equipment providers, are required to comply with to remain open. This document has been updated to reflect those requirements by license type. This guidance replaces all previous infection control requirements issued by the Board.
Terminal Distributors of Dangerous Drugs, Medical Marijuana Dispensaries, and Home Medical Equipment Service Providers in Ohio
Per the Director’s Stay Safe Ohio Order, the requirements listed as mandatory in the following document apply to all Ohio locations holding a license as a terminal distributor of dangerous drugs (pharmacies, clinics, etc.), medical marijuana dispensary, or a license/registration as a home medical equipment service provider:
