Reps. John Larson (D-Conn.) and Lee Zeldin (R-N.Y.) are spearheading a Congressional sign-on letter asking CMS to permanently exclude CRT manual accessories from bidding-derived pricing. Without action, manual CRT accessories could see rate reductions as early as July 2021.
Mobility stakeholders should reach out to their representatives asking them to join the sign-on letter. Priority targets should include the 86 House members who have co-sponsored H.R. 2293, legislation to permanently exclude manual wheelchairs and accessories from the bidding program.
