The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services announced the contract suppliers for Round 2021 of the Durable Medical Equipment, Prosthetics, Orthotics, and Supplies (DMEPOS) Competitive Bidding Program (CBP) to provide Off-The-Shelf (OTS) Knee Braces and OTS Back Braces to Medicare beneficiaries in Round 2021 competitive bidding areas (CBAs).

Round 2021 contract supplier locations for each competitive bidding area and product category combination (competition) are now available on the Competitive Bidding Implementation Contractor (CBIC) website. These locations will be displayed in the Medicare Supplier Directory when the program is implemented on January 1, 2021. Contract suppliers may request to add or remove a location(s) on their competitive bidding contract in Connexion, the program’s secure portal.
The CBIC, under contract with CMS, is the official source for information regarding the DMEPOS CBP. CMS cautions suppliers that neither CMS nor the CBIC independently reviews or verifies information concerning the DMEPOS CBP posted on websites other than the CBIC website or CMS.gov website.
