Special Webinar Hosted by CGS on Power Wheelchair Condition of Payment Prior Authorization Nationwide Expansion
CMS has expanded the condition of payment prior authorization for power wheelchairs nationally and the DME POE team at CGS has scheduled a special webinar to detail the program. The webinar will take place on August 16, 2018, at 10:30 AM Eastern (9:30 AM Central).
POE educators will provide an overview of the Condition of Payment Prior Authorization (PA) Program, the process of submitting a Prior Authorization Request (PAR), as well as a review of the required documentation, timeframes, and billing processes.
This expansion includes 31 additional Power Wheelchair codes and all 50 states and territories will participate in the program starting with dates of delivery September 1, 2018.
