Dinsmore Law Firm Offers Guidance and FAQs on COVID-19

OAMES long-time legal advisor and frequent conference speaker Tom Hess with associate member Dinsmore & Shohl LLP shared their firm's COVID-19 Business Strategies Hub. We encourage HME providers and small businesses to visit this site as their team of attorneys are updating content daily.  The "hub" offers guidance on a number of topics focused on healthcare and workforce issues.

Dinsmore has also published several FAQ on the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (“CARES Act”) including issues related to benefits, unemployment, relief payments, telehealth and more.

OAMES has been receiving questions from members regarding the relief payments. Under the CARES Act, the Department of Health and Human Services was allocated $100 billion dollars to provide immediate financial relief to health care providers in support of the national response to the COVID-19 pandemic. On April 10, 2020, HHS began distributing the initial $30 billion tranche of those funds. The funding is intended to support health care-related expenses and lost revenues attributable to the coronavirus.  Click here for relief fund payment FAQ developed by Dinsmore.

If you have legal questions related to COVID-19 not found in these resources, please email OAMES executive director Kam Yuricich and OAMES staff will do their best to seek answers.
